Amy L. Kaminski

Managing Director

Amy joined GSP, a predecessor to DMGS, in 2001.  A Managing Director, Amy's expertise is in developing and implementing governmental strategies at the local, state, and federal levels for non-profit and education clients.  Her work has helped some of Pennsylvania's top universities and cultural institutions find the funding needed to expand, while benefiting the communities in which they operate.  Amy excels in her role as government advocate while overseeing operations for all of DMGS' offices across the country.

Experience

Prior to joining GSP, Amy served as Assistant Account Executive at Ketchum Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA. There she was responsible for the following: planned publicity and employee events for clients, including location, logistics and media coverage and worked directly with caterers and property managers; managed client accounts, including budgets and day-to-day client relations; helped create and implement crisis plans; drafted and executed all aspects of media relations plans, including pitching and developed relationships with local press; drafted, edited and distributed media materials, including press releases and media advisories; and produced collateral materials such as media kits and company brochures, worked directly with independent designers and print houses.

Education/Affiliations/Awards

Amy received a B.A. in Government and English from Franklin & Marshall College as well as a Certificate of Academic Achievement from the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business Entrepreneurial Fellowship Center.

Amy was named a Pittsburgh Business Times Fast-Tracker in 2004 and was a CFO of the Year Awards finalist in 2006, 2007 and 2008. She is a Volunteer Member of the American Cancer Society Greater Pittsburgh Unit Board of Directors as well as Chair of the American Cancer Society Greater Pittsburgh Unit Daffodil Days Campaign.
